A bold tropically hopped spring pale ale to get you started in the morning... with a little bite and lower ABV.
When the snow finally melts and spring arrives, it's time to get outside for some mountain biking, hiking, rafting, kayaking, running, climbing...or what ever gets you going. When play time's over, it's time for a light, refreshing brew that packs a favorful punch. And with a low ABV, you'll be ready to do it all again...tomorrow...

Drinking this at The Nantahala Brewing Company in Beautiful downtown Sylva NC in The Smoky Mountains.
Poured from a tap into a pint.
Looks golden yellow with a nice white foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring.
Smells lightly bready, citrusy grapefruit orange sweet.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice Pale Ale that I would definitely order again.
Cheers!

A: Pours a relatively clear deep golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate amounts of copper highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a large half finger thick cap in the center of the glass surrounded by a mottled thick film and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel and toasted malts with moderate aromas of herbal, tropical/mango, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted and caramel malts with a hint of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of herbal, tropical/mango, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp.
O: A pretty decent sessionable pale ale - I wish the tropical fruit flavors were a little stronger than the herbal ones but very easy to drink.

Solid, session-able IPA...paired extremely well with the juicy burger from the Nantahala grill! Slightly drying, nice hop-bite with a decent citrus mouthfeel.
