Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a light caramel brown color, with a filmy halo of head. Nose of grapefruit, caramel, wood spice, and toasted bitter rye grain. Flavors are smooth and citrus sweet forward, with heavy wood and spice to follow. Roasted undertones. Bitterness and spice builds into the aftertaste, with a spicy, clean finish. Good beer.
