I've had several stouts from these guys and they've all been pretty solid, but this one is absolutely fantastic!
Poured jet black, with creamy brown-ish head.
Lots of roast and some hints of dark fruit complimented by appropriate bitterness.
Really smooth feel, with a light and welcome boozy heat.
This is pretty much exactly what I want to taste when I have a RIS. Props to the guys at Equinox for releasing a big-boy stout during one of the hottest summers I've experienced in Fort Collins. Even more love for the fact that it is now one of the better examples of the style I've experienced.
