Pours a hazy yellow with a big creamy white head that sticks around a long time and leaves huge rings of chunky lace.
The aroma is clean, sweet wheat, fresh grain with a big banana and clove nose. Slight bubblegum hints. A touch of citrus twang.
The flavors follow with a nice, mellow, well balanced banana cream and clove smell on top of a grainy, clean malt character and lemon zest hints.
Creamy, smooth and silky
Delicious, and easy to drink beer.

On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a big white head. Aromas of yeast, banana and clove. On the palate, light bodied, with flavors of bananas, yeast and clove.

After visiting Equinox for the first time, this was easily one of the standouts. Poured into a glass.
A- Pours a murky, dingy gold color. Not that flattering, but who really cares? Produced a fingers width of foamy, white head. Reduced to a ring around the glass. Minor lacing as the beer was consumed.
S- Just fantastic. Bananas, cloves, slight bubble gum attribute with plenty of wheat in the background. Not much more that you could ask for in a hefeweizen.
T- Once again, blown away. Pretty much mirrored the aroma, except that there was an ever so slight tartness in the finish.
M- Clean, well carbonated and light bodied.
D- This beer is the epitome of drinkability. I'm so glad summer is here and that I have this beer sitting in front of me.
Overall, my hands down favorite hefeweizen has been Live Oak's. I'm not sure that this beer surpasses it, but it definitely is the only other hefeweizen that I have had that would give it a run for its money. This beer is fantastic, a definite must try!

Vernal Hefeweizen poured a cloudy yellow gold colour with a small head of foam and some lacing.
The smell is loaded with bananas and some cloves. Wow, a pretty strong nose for the style and fits the style to a T.
The taste is of bananas and clove, and nice yeasty flavour and the flavours are not at all timid. You *know* you are drinking a Hefeweizen as soon as you take your first sip. A superb offering.
Light bodied with fairly light carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and you just want to take another sip again and again.
Drinkability? See above. ;^) A delicious and one of the best of the styles that I've tried.
