Firkin at Equinox. Pours black brown with a small light brown head that quickly disappears completely .
Aroma is roasted malts with lots of strong roasted coffee and some leather. Diminishes quickly.
Flavor is chocolate malt with lots of strong roasted coffee and some light smoke notes and leather. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and pretty viscous with almost no carbonation.
Overall, lots of over the top coffee and a little flat. I think I prefer the regular Jonas better with slight coffee notes and more going on.
