Pours a dark amber with a caramel brown hue and an off white head. Aroma is bready and caramel, some spiciness of cinnamon and nutmeg, and some roastiness that gives off some chocolate, and a nice touch of piney bitterness in the finish. Flavor follows suit. A medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, a very nice winter warmer from Equinox here. Dug it, would drink again for sure.

A: A deep, dark copper pour. A little bit of lacing left behind.
S: Toasted malt in the aroma with some grains a hint of a sour note.
T: Bready, biscuit taste, much like many of the amber ales out there. Malt dominates, though the overall isn't as strong as their year-round amber Red Dwarf. A hint of alcohol shows at the end.
M: Medium bodied, fairly smooth.
