A pro-am beer brewed with home brewer and master beer judge Bob Hall of Laramie, WY.
Served cold in a half pint glass at Equinox, #11 is a deep redish brown color with great clarity and thin white head. The head is short and settles quickly leaving a little lace on the glass.
Aroma is malty but mild with a nice hint of Belgian ale yeast.
Flavor is more bold with dark fruits, clove, and pepper. The alcohol is definately there but it's not overpowering.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, strong but balanced.
Overall a very good Belgian strong dark. Cheers to Mr. Hall!
