Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, caramel coloring with a clingy, filmy, white head. Nose of cut grass, lemon zest, pepper, and subtle resinous notes. Flavors are citrus heavy forward, with grapefruit and lemon tart and sweet. Caramel backbone, with roasted notes, pepper spice, and toasted overtones. Smooth bodied, with a citrus sweet blend in the aftertaste. Slightly cloying, boozy, dry finish. Big beer.

Pours a dark orange with a dirty white head. Aroma is hop forward with only the slightest hint of some malt; sweet, juicy tropical fruits, a little grape, mild bitter pine, and a kiss of some toast. Flavor pretty much followed suit. A crisp, active mouthfeel. Overall, definitely my favorite hoppy beer that I have tried from these guys so far. Definitely dug this one, would happily drink this one again.
