Pours a dark amber with an off white head. Aroma is caramel, bready, herbal, a little smokiness, and slight hops. Flavor pretty much followed suit. A crisp, active, medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, not my favorite style of beer but did enjoy this one. Perhaps I am coming around to altbiers?
