Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Dark murky brown. The bottle was well rested and chilled but quite a lot of sediment entered the pour. Mind you plenty more is left stuck to the bottom of the bottle. Pours with a thick+creamy ultra-fine bubble dark beige head.
S- Very mild indeed, surprisingly so. Hard for me to ID anything specific, good or bad.
T- Quite dry, slightly tannic with hints of sourness. I'd likely believe someone if they suggested this is wine-barrel aged.
F- The 6.8% ABV is well hidden. It's over in the moderately sour/bitter part of the scale.
O- Really quite disappointing for my tastes. A beer that looks like this and at 6.8% promised something interesting, especially with that understated 'sleeper' of a labelling. In summary it's like a moderately sour dark brown beer, with hidden ABV% and a flavour that's pretty well hidden too.
330ml bottle BB: hard to read 09/2021 I think. Euro2.60 Bought from BeerMania/Belgium as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
