A: The beer is hazy amber yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a two finger high off white head that died down, leaving a large pillow of bubbles in the center and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of mangos are present in the nose.
T: The taste is a little stronger than the smell, having light flavors of mangos and ginger. No bitterness is noticeable.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is perceptible.
O: This beer doesn't seem anything like an IPA as there is no detectable bitterness. It's more like a pale ale that has some flavors of mango and ginger added.

A finger's worth of plush light khaki colored froth... Modest retention... Once receded there is a mostly full veil of lacing and a thin collar... The color is a vibrant mix of medium copper and caramel... A moderate bit of moderate paced carbonation rises throughout... The nose is rather pleasant and quite refreshing... True to its name this one is bursting at the seams with ripe mango and fresh ginger... The aroma is rounded out by assorted other tropical fruits and a faint cereal grain component... Lots of ginger on the palate... The mango and tropical fruit are largely missing on the palate... A slight sage like spice presence... A bit metallic and a bit soapy... The finish has some tart red grapefruit that lingers... The mouthfeel teeters between the full side of light bodied and the light side of medium bodied... Starts lush... The finish is dry and somewhat metallic... The appearance and aroma are pleasant enough, but the flavor profile and mouthfeel quickly take this one south... Average at best... An interesting idea that is a bit disjointed in terms of execution...

can.

(3.10) A: Good clarity with a pumpkin orange coloring. Frothy, dirty seashell white head of one inch shows a fair rate of visible carbonation and weak show of lacing. Visible carbonation is light and sporadic.

(3.10) S: Light mango, dried pineapple slices, wheat and dried grains. Quickly diminishing strength with a faint hint of semi-dry orange.

(3.25) T: Orange flavor, dry wheat, faint dry tropical fruit of mango with a light dry ginger spicing. Mundane.

(3.30) M: Decent crispness, spicy, medium body, dry ginger spicing leave on the tongue.

(3.20) Overall this was ok, fairly crisp, but fairly mundane when it comes to the flavor. The name sounds more enticing then the actual delivery. The mango fruit was mute, wish it was more lively, fresh, and wet , while the ginger spicing could of used more snap as it was subtle and dry. The can seemed to have a plastic sleeve on it. Not bad, just a bit meh and don't expect ipa hopping levels. My can was listed as 4.6% and as a pale ale, not ipa so not sure what is going on here.
