On tap at the Brewhouse. Served a black color with a moderate tan head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, some coffee with a bit of hops in the background. Taste of roasted malt, coffee and some chocolate. Has a distinct bitterness, sort of a mix of the hops and coffee with a dry finish. Medium body, crisp with an almost coarse texture. Has a character that seems to improve as it warms. decent beer for the style.
