A classic style of beer, both refreshing and complex. Bitter orange peel and coriander are added near the end of the boil to give this ale a crisp, yet zesty citrus flavor. 50% Wheat and 50% Barley make up the rest of the recipe giving an overall impression of a refreshing wheat beer.

Served this Witbier on tap at the brewery. This Witbier poured a hazy golden color, it produced a thin white head. Head retention was poor, and left behind an average amount of lacing. The aroma comprised of light wheat and orange peel. The taste of the ale had a mild hint of citrus, a little less than the nose will suggest. There was also some light wheat flavor and it was fairly sweet. Light in body, a little watery, drinkable. Decent summer beer. Nothing special.

A: Served a hazy golden color with a nice white head and some lacing.
S: Has a clean aroma with a pleasant touch of citrus.
T: Has and initial taste of mild citrus and a trace of sweetness. There is a light grain texture with a crisp dry finish.
F: A fairly light body, smooth as somewhat creamy. Nice balance.
O: Although Wit Beers are not my favorite this was an enjoyable change. The brew house serves the beer without any slice of fruit to mask the taste which is good for a few points. Worth a try on a hot summer day.

Pours a cloudy, pale gold color. 1/5 inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of orange, yeast, and wheat. Fits the style of a Witbier. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of hops, orange, wheat, yeast, and lemon zest. Overall, good mouth feel and blend, but a little weak in body.
