This is a big beer coming in at 8% ABV! Brewed with a malty background but well balanced with a massive amount of hops giving this beer a spicy hop bitterness and dry-hopped for a big floral aroma.

Medium dark brown ale with a good malt backbone. Not too heavy on the alcohol, so you can drink more than one pint and not feel woozy. Great choice of hops in this brew as it's not too floral or grapefruit for me to drink, but enough citrusy hops that my wife enjoys it. A pretty well balanced Imperial IPA.

Served this Imperial IPA on tap in a pint glass. This IIPA poured a hazy copper color. It produced an off white head. Head retention was average and it had average lacing. The aroma had nice citrus hops, and sweet malt. The taste of the IIPA left a a lot to be desired, for a IIPA it was not hopped as aggressively as it should be. There is only a slight taste of citrus hops, it was mostly sweet and malty. They need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Pours a slightly hazy, copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and great lacing. Smells of citrus hops, sweet malt, slight pale malt, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of citrus hops, sweet malt, alcohol, slight pale malt, and a hint of roasted malt. Overall, even with an eight percent ABV, the alcohol is barely noticeable. Good appearance, feel, and blend. The body, though, is not as pronounced as I expected a IIPA to be.
