Served this American strong ale on tap at the brewery. Served in an 8 oz goblet. Poured a dark brown color produced a thin tan head retention was average and lacing was average. The aroma consisted of toasted wheat cinnamon and a slight hint of coffee and piney hops. The taste is smooth medium in body full of dark roasted malt coffee caramel and chocolate. Great session beer.

Served in a snifter at the Brewhouse.
A: Dark almost a mahogany color with hints of amber around the edge. Small head with some web-like lacing.
S: Aroma of dark fruits, cinnamon and spice sweetness. Trace of caramel malt. Smell is very inviting.
T: Taste of dark fruits, mild cinnamon and spice sweetness with just a bit of caramel malt. There is a most subtle bitterness that is easy to overlook with a clean finish.
F: Medium body, smooth, almost velvet-like texture. Very good balance with not hint of the alcohol, just a pleasant warming feeling.
O: Excellent offering. Instead of drinking you sort of absorb this beer. Well worth stopping by try this one.
