Served this Schwarzbier on tap, in a pint glass. This ale poured a dark black color, produced a medium sized off white head featured below avg retention and a decent amount of lacing left on glass. The aroma of roasted malt was subtle, crisp and clean. Light in body, this brew has a mild roasted malt flavor, it is a little on the thin side. Not much hop flavor to speak of. Decent session beer but only average for this beer style. Prost!

On tap at the Brewhouse.
A: Served a virtual black color with a small head and some lacing.
S: Mild aroma of roasted malt, some nut with a trace of caramel sweetness.
T: Mild roasted malt flavor, with some nut and trace of semi-sweet chocolate. There is a bit of bitterness in the background and a dry finish.
F: Fairly medium body, smooth and clean.
O: Easy drinker. Nice offering from the brewhouse. Fairly average for this style but still worth a try.
