On tap at the Brewhouse.
A: Served a reddish-brown color with a decent tan head and some lacing.
S: Aroma of roasted malt, nutty with some caramel.
T: Taste follows with roasted malt, nutty with some caramel and just a bit of coffee in the background. Nice bitterness and a dry finish.
F: It has a fairly medium body, crisp, smooth and nicely balanced. Has a bit of character.
O: Nice beer for the style. A number of Irish Ales I have had come across as fairly bland and are Irish in name only. This one was quite enjoyable.
