On tap. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Weak roasty taste with some coffee and caramel.

Had on tap. Don't know how I have not had anything by Argus at this point, but this was a great introduction. More brown than black in a dark body with a large tan head and lacing. Smells of caramel and pecan submerged in cocoa, robust bread, and dark fruit. Taste is a clone, with a kiss of vanilla near the finish. Feel is chewy, full but not heavy, and very smooth.
