Appearance - Pours a jet black with four fingers of frothy mocha tan head.
Smell - earthy and leafy hops, roasted malts, cocoa, dark chocolate, smoky aromas, hint of coffee bean, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy and leafy hops upfront then quickly goes into the roasted malts, cocoa, dark chocolate, and hint of coffee bean. The hint of smoky aromas and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and creamy with all ingredients lingering.
Overall - A pleasant and flavourful brew. I wish the mouthfeel was a tad better but other than that a solid brew.
