This place has all of the ambience that I expect in a Quik Mart - not a place that I am looking to hang out regularly and virtually no other customers on a rainy Tuesday morning. The beer is all located chilled in the coolers which encompass the entire right hand wall as well as the back wall from the cash register to the right hand side of the store.
As previously stated, all of the beer is stored chilled and there is a small section of singles as well as 4/6/12 packs and bombers. The seasonal beers are the appropriate releases and the few things I checked were well within date codes.
The gentleman working when I visited was friendly and helpful, mentioning some of the newer beer arrivals but didn't seem to be overly beer knowledgeable.
There is a pretty good representation of craft beers, much more so than the BMC products, including quite a few from NC - the person working at the store told me they had approximately 500 different SKUs of beer and I didn't have any problem believing that. I could easily see this being a good spot to check for stuff that sells out more quickly at the other local (more popular) shops.

I didn't add this place to the site, but it looks like I'm the first to review it. Stopped in here when I was in the area for the day. Looks like your typical stop'n-go from the outside. The beer is located on the back wall on the right side in a cooler. Across the aisle are shelves of wine. There's a small stand-alone cooler that holds cases of brews, many of which are craft brands. Their selection is pretty decent for a little store: SN, Bell's, Left Hand, Terrapin, Rogue, Blue Point, etc. They even carried a few German selections. I checked the dates on a few and they were fresh. Prices are pretty average for the area. Service was non-existent, but that's fine with me. Not a bad little place if you are really close-by, but nothing to go out of your way for.
