Swung by the brewery yesterday and nabbed a single for $5/12 oz bottle. Enjoyed from a barrier sample glass.
a - brew is transparent golden yellow with classic IPA characteristics, nice head and lace.
s - nose boasts a heavy handed dank citric bouquet. Fairly juicy and all about the hop.
t/m/o - I have to say it is a hell of a solid IIPA with a rich dense resinous citric hop and a understated but present malt backbone. Not overly bitter but definitely chewy and full bodied. I would say that this brew is good enough to warrant the $5 price tag but for some reason it is a hard pill to swallow for an IIPA when there is such fierce and solid competition getting comparable beer in a 6 pack for at least $10 less (this is a $25 sixer). I think that this beer could do well in a bomber at this price point (bomber would be $10) but something feels weird about a $5 12 oz IIPA and a $25 6 pack. That being said, yes, the beer is worthy. Go out and grab some while it is still around. There were a few left at the brewery and it was in draft. Very drinkable...dangerously drinkable at this abv actually...and super tasty.

Grabbed a six pack from their new years eve release, poured a 12oz bottle into a teku glass. Pours a clear glowing golden color with a nice white head that dissipated pretty quick. Smells of a citrus strong hop presence. Tastes citrusy and fresh, grapefruit. On the mouth a bubble carbonation that is overtaken by a resiny slick. This beer is a solid ipa up their with the best of them.
