Not much of a nose but has decent lacing. A bit of a vegatable taste but not too off putting. The 11.7% rears it's ugly head a bit more than I prefer but Iwouldn't say no to another

I have gravitated away from huge 2xIPAs in the past few years, but when one this delicious is available fresh, I cave. Huge tropical mango/citrus thing going on here with bready malt letting itself be known. Barrier's hoppy beers are just good...and here's another one. Quite drinkable for ~12%, but you can tell it's a double. Long Island beer is making moves.
