Not much of a nose but has decent lacing. A bit of a vegatable taste but not too off putting. The 11.7% rears it's ugly head a bit more than I prefer but Iwouldn't say no to another

I have gravitated away from huge 2xIPAs in the past few years, but when one this delicious is available fresh, I cave. Huge tropical mango/citrus thing going on here with bready malt letting itself be known. Barrier's hoppy beers are just good...and here's another one. Quite drinkable for ~12%, but you can tell it's a double. Long Island beer is making moves.

Light haze in orange body with white bubbly head. Aroma of citrus, rind, grass, pine, mint, some booze. Tastes of citrus, rind, melon, grass, pine, big bitterness, light booze. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Amazing how easy it goes down. Doesn't taste like 11%.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a Guinness glass.

Look is slightly hazy orange color with a thin fluffy white head.

Aroma is completely pithy tropical a mix of bitter and citrus.

Taste matches aroma. Thick and hoppy with a sweet note at the end.

Overall this beer doesn't taste like a 11% IPA. Very deceiving cause I could drink a lot of these.
