A: Poured from the half-growler into a tall tulip-style glass. Body is slightly hazy golden-yellow, with a half-finger whitish head settling on top to leave behind a bit of lace.
S: Not too strong in the nose at all - a bit of spiciness and some faint citrusy hops bitterness.
T: First impression is that it's light - in both taste and feel. Light crackery malt foundation is followed by lemony, spicy and earthy hops - the hops bring to mind Sorachi Ace, though it's been awhile since I've had a beer using that hop. Lingering lemony bitterness on the aftertaste.
M: Call it light in heft, with a bit of an active fizziness.
O: Good - a solid, easy-drinking, lighter summer IPA.
