A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a short head covering the surface and lots of thick lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and limes are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of gooseberries and limes along with hints of pears and stone fruit. Little, if any bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The Citra hops really stand out in the smell and taste of this beer, especially due to the use of the Citra lupulin powder.

16oz canned 10-4-19, opened 11-16-19.
2 finger white head creeps over the rim. Hazy, pale golden with much visible carbonation swirling topside and keeping the head afloat. Excellent retention. Sheet of lace.
Oranges, pine, crisp apple, apricot, melon.
Bready malt manages to peek through all these hop flavors...oranges, peach, apricot, maybe some melon late...complex flavors.
Medium body, medium carbonation, soft mouthfeel, low bitterness, long finish of mainly what I perceive to be stone fruit. 7.4% is masked fairly well and the drinkability/enjoyability is high.
Very good. Great hop profile, enjoyed the lupulin powder...not sure what other beers I've tried recently that had this.

Traded for this a while ago, as the date on the bottom of the can read 4/17/17 with "SHAKE SENORA" written above it. Yes, this beer was old but it held up well over the last few years and was as smooth and enjoyable as anything that I've ever had from either brewery. Lots of fruit and just the right amount and mix of hops here, which made this an appealing American IPA!

Good pour to this as the liquid was a turbid goldenrod with a lot of sediment in it, though it was quite fine. Plenty of head topped this off as the lacing left behind was quite thick and dripped down to the rings below. The aroma wasn't strong as it was full of bright citrus, stone fruit, mild funk and dank hops, and lively pine. All of those could be found in the taste as the mouthfeel was slick, a bit heavy, and full of honey stickiness. Moderately sweet and just as mild in body, there wasn't a lot of carbonation to be found here, though a bit more would have kept this lively.

As it was, the amount of booze was spot-on and the presence of the lupulin powder made this juicy enough that the dankness didn't fully win out in the end. Hopheads will love the taste while the tangerine cream that emerged in the aftertaste left me wanting more - which is what any good beer should leave as it's last impression. Fun stuff that was on par with the label and with the best offerings that these two brewers have produced over the years!

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.

Look is an extremely hazy yellow with a frothy head.

Aroma is a dank herbal lemon.

Taste mirrors the taste with an intense herbal dankness.

Delicious.
