Pours easy, has a hazy orange amber appearance, and smells of pineapple and mango. Drinks easy, bitter but not in a bad way, creamy mouthfeel and very enjoyable.

Poured from 16oz tall can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned 5/15/20.
Appearance: hazy medium-yellow hue with two fingers of big, pillowy ivory foam atop. Seems legit!
Smell: fruity hop aroma with some pineapple, mango and berry character, along with enough sweetness to make it pretty candy-like. It's pretty decent, y'all.
Taste: this has the classic juicy IPA "orange julius" flavor without just being orange ... there's mango, berry and other stuff in there. It reads to me as generically "fruity". It's got a bit of an earthy character, too, just a little and just enough to add a nice layer of complexity. Virtually no bitterness at all. I dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a huge carbonation and a great big creaminess for the style. Great!
Overall: I like this beer a lot. It has a ton of weird character, and though I might not drink this every day (if I could get it every day), it is definitely something I'd look for again.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of gooseberries, herbal hops, and limes are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts off with flavors of flavors of gooseberries and limes, finishing with hints of herbal hops. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked how the taste of this beer transitioned between the flavors of the different hop varieties. It was kind of like driving from Nassau County (516) to Suffolk County (631).

Hazy yellow orange look. Mildly hoppy taste with a bit bitter feel , citrus fruit, tropical spice taste. Super balance of flavors I can’t describe. I thought this beer was delicious. Will get again.

A: Poured from the can into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy golden-orange with a small whitish head on top.
S: Modest tropical fruit, floral, perfumey hops, and a touch of citrus.
T: Pretty much follows the nose, with a bigger malt foundation than expected. It's followed by tropical fruity hops - think mango - and a touch of oranges and then more citrus - of the bitter type (think lemon, grapefruit peel) at the finish.
M: A little on the thick and slick side for a "straight" IPA; feels more like DIPA in many ways.
O: Very good. Grows on me as I drink it, which I think is a good thing.

Pleased to be the sixth review of the 6 - 51631. A nice play on area codes (Zip codes having been conquered by Carton).
A) Beautiful beer. Orange amber, rich white head, lots of sea foamy lace - as fitting for Barrier.
S) Bright blaring citrus orchard and flower shop, with one odd component that’s a bit powdered tang or medicine cabinet.
T) Lots of successive citrus fruit flavors, with that chalky, dusty feeling of a Smartie. leans into pleasant clean bitter finish. Juicy and chalky at once.
F) Interesting. Clean bright finish, good food beer, almost too much except with salty oysters and clams. Juicy, tangy.
o) Despite being light and playful this is serious beer. Try 24.
