Pours a hazy straw. It has quite the bouquet of zesty lime on the nose. This definitely carries through in flavor. It's got a nice bisquity body with that lime zest and a touch of citrus tang that teeters on the fence of pleasant vs unpleasant. Refreshing? Yes. A good pilsner? If you're comparing it to other American made pils, yes. Unique? Yes. Is it like most good Czech pils I've had? No. To conclude, I like this beer, but it is a hop driven, refreshing pilsner.

Canned 2/6/18
Hazy pineapple-juice yellow, with ample , long-lasting white head & lacing.
Initially, smells mostly of fruit, moderate pineapple, light grapefruit and lemon. As it warms , more of the wet straw & cracker of a typical pilsener becomes apparent.
Flavor is as the aroma suggests, with maybe a 45/55 division, of IPA/Pils characteristics, respectively.
The finish is lightly bitter, with the pils flavor elements lingering a bit longer than the rest.
Feel on the light side of medium, moderately crisp, with very fine carbonation tingle throughout, lingering beyond everything else.
Overall , well-done, and nicely balanced. IPA drinkers should like this, even if pilsener isn't a favorite style. The pils elements have a light touch, and dance around the other flavors, popping up here & there. Pils drinkers that don't generally favor IPA probably should try a single first. It IS lightly fruity throughout. I hope this is available during the warm days of summer. Guessing that this would be especially good at the end of a long hot day.

Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a sort of "chill haze" to murky pale orange hue with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated with the sips. Light smattering of speckles in the lace dot the sides of the glass.
The aroma preaches of some sweet biscuit, light lemon, crushed white pepper along with some grassy hops close to the end.
The flavor had a crisp sweet contour of the biscuit and lemon. Smooth crisp and clean biscuit aftertaste and very light.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied (yes, a bit heavier than expected for the style, but I didn't mind), just something to watch out for (fans of the style be aware). Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Finish had the grassy hops giving a nice signature for making sure we knew this was an Americanized pilsener.
Overall, though not truly a Czech pilsener, I realize it was probably added to Beer Advocate because there isn't a "catch all" for pilseners (fair enough). Me, I look forward until the day when BA adds "American Pilsener" to it's database. This would be one of them. Rating is high due to some "personal palate" interference, sorry Czech pilsener fans.

Great looking beer when poured from a 16 ounce can into a pilsener glass, with a frothy head that has some staying power. Deep yellow in color. Excellent representation of a czech pilsener, dry-hopped. Crisp, clean and tasty with a hint of hops. the 16 ounces disappeared quickly!

Poured from a 16oz can into a dogfish tulip glass.
Look is a caramel orange mix with an inch white head.
Aroma is a dry biscuit malt with a light citrusy note at the end.
Taste is more muted on the hops but nice dry cracker malt.
Excellent drinker at 4.7%.

CAN
Dank gold with white crust with legs. 4
Clear grain and big papaya. 4
Cracker, some flint, a hit of melon, guava, and grass. 3.75
Light, round, slight oil. 4
October 2 canning (3 weeks old) so pretty darn fresh. Yet little hop character, along with watery body and no pilsner snap. Considering Barrier’s rep for IPwhatever, disappointing. 3.75
