Pours a clear yellow with a well retained one inch white head that left a lot of lacing. Smells and tastes of floral elements, grassy hops and bready malts. Medium bodied for the style, medium carbonation, dry finish with some bitterness. Crisp and refreshing.

My brother in law had some people over or a post-Christmas bash. I brought a growler of Hairy Eyeball but didn't sample it myself because I was driving, and with holiday enforcement in effect I needed something with a little less octane and this sufficed.

I remember a classic balanced pilsener with broad toasted bread and grassy hop notes. Generally agreeable despite being fairly forgetable.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles on the surface and lots of lacing running down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grassy and floral hops are present in the nose along with notes of grainy malts.
T: The taste has flavors of grassy hops along with notes of grainy malts and hints of bready malts, the latter of which become a bit stronger as the beer warms up. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has some really nice aromas and flavors of grassy hops and has just enough of a malt backbone that it still tastes like a pilsener.
