This beer disappoints! Not what I would consider a milk stout, lacking richness, weak on smell and lacking a bit in taste...

On nitro @ Barrier Brewing Co. in Oceanside, NY.
Jet black color like a Big Black Furry Creature From Mars, with a creamy tan head thanks to the nitro pour. Roasted malt aroma with mild notes of chocolate and coffee that somehow leaks out of your cup.
Time to dip a ladle for a taste of Barrier's creation. More roasted malt with the chocolate taking a backseat. Just enough hops to balance things out but they are barely noticeable.
Soft in its finish. Creamy with a medium-full body. You can feel good about Hood.
