1 US pint can, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 7.1%. Opaque yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and spruce, hints of tropical fruits. Citric and fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has citrus and some tropical fruits, moderate pine and spruce in the finish, but the bitterness is low.

-Pale yellow can pour with a deep haze and a 2 cm cap of fluff. The aroma is strong with pineapple. The flavor is rich with tangerine, mango and pineapple. The hop bitterness creeps toward moderate. The mouthfeel is very soft and smooth. -very good

DATE: August 17, 2019... OCCASION: having taken in Hobbs and Shaw with the boys to celebrate the end of the summer, I seek something to quench my thirst from the nachos and popcorn... GLASSWARE: Maudite snifter... pours from an hours-old grunt a dark yellow-orange body with subtle bubbles... its head is off-white, single-fingered, and clustered bubbles that ring to a creamy thickness at the glass... powerful peach, resin, honeysuckle, light pepper and spice, with mango and papaya juice too... this is a pleasant, heavily hopped IPA, with a bit of astringency... lively, sharp, and bubbly--sticky, puckering, oily, and appreciable in its medium-bodied motion... its finish is robust and consistent, providing a resinous stickiness between sips... a LOT of hoppiness here, with peach, papaya, pepper, and resin--a bit tart and abrasive for the 7.1% ABV... in fact, the medicinal astringency kind of veers this into a decent experience, but not the one that an IPA should produce... my introduction to Barrier is solid but not memorable... this works, but by the second glass begins to present counter to its intentions...
