Pours a clear straw yellow color with visible carbonation. A modest wispy head nevertheless shows decent retention.
The aroma opens up with notes of lemon, grass and crackery malt. However, the spices soon dominate the nose, as the turmeric gives off a spicy, pungent and mustard like scent, while the use of ginger evokes ginger ale.
The taste opens up with a soft bready and crackery malty sweetness. As with the aroma, the spices, both from hops and adjuncts, soon take over. Bright citrusy and somewhat fruity hops add flavors along with a minimal bitterness. The turmeric complements the hops profile as well as providing some bitterness. There are tea like flavors along with a cola and ginger ale quality throughout. The ginger ale taste, to its credit, gradually loses its cola like sweetness and evolves into more of a raw ginger spice.
Medium to light bodied, crisp and amply carbonated. The finish is dry and with a strong raw ginger and tea flavor.
Interesting pilsner through its use of adjuncts.

Looks the part of a pilsner, nice clear golden color with a half inch white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells of crackery malts and then tumeric which ruins it for me. The base pilsner is a very good beer but the addition of the tumeric ginger white tea ruins it for me as it does absolutely nothing to improve the base beer. Light to medium bodied for a pilsner, highly carbonated.

Sampled from a tall can

Clear and straightforward brew brew, minor head and lacing.

Crackery malt nose.

Crisp, clean and worthy...nothing overly special going on here..... just malty, flavorful and worth a try.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that quickly died down, leaving lots of specks of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of ginger are present in the nose—these get a little stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The taste follows the smell and has stronger notes of ginger along with underlying hints of bread malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The ginger leaves an ever so slight tingling feeling on the mouthfeel.
O: With the ginger flavors in this beer, it's really tough to tell that it is a lager compared to an ale because you really don't get any type of cleanness on the mouthfeel. In any event, it is an interesting variation of a pilsener.
