Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed bright golden pour. Thick fluffy white head leaves great lacing.
S: Grapefruit rind and spice. Mango/tropicals.
T.F: Sweet and fruity up front... tangerine and grapefruit. Lighter mango and apricot with pepper/spice. Modest bitterness. Sticky on the tongue... medium bodied and smooth. Lingering fruity sweetness on the tongue.
O: A very solid IPA. Great flavor/drinkability... a well rounded brew.

Awesome pale yellow pour with a nice resistant white head on top. The smell is pungent and dank. The taste has a great balance of sweet and bitter. The feel is smooth. Overall outstanding brew!

Looks yellowish but not murky. Head disappears fast.
Smells like heaven, full of funky hops and tropical fruit. Not quite as yeasty a bouquet as a normal Barrier, but maybe just because they concocted such a potent hops mixture.
Tastes great for several seconds. Perfectly bitter, tarry backbone throughout, with a burst of grapefruit zest and mango to start. Sip and savor it, if you can, because the last, warmest sips will be fullest.
Feels less full than its flavor. Nice asphalt taste lingers but the accompanying fruit fizz fizzles out thinly.
Overall, a great modern IPA.

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a yellow extremely with a thick what head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma is astrigent lemon and bitter herbs.
Taste matches aroma. Lots of light lemon balanced by sweet biscuit malt.
