Originally brewed in 2012 after we were back up and running after Hurricane Sandy. Brewed for the first time since 2014 and now for the first time packaged in cans! Dry hopped with Citra & Eukanot.

3d review of "great" Barrier DIPA beer, Submersion. Sourced at WFM.
a) Slight hazed golden body with short and unlasting head.
s / t ) AMPLE, which is first requirement. Orange, candied rind, honey, caramel, floral. Clean not dank.
f) balanced, clean, bright, juicy. Kissy tongue pucker.
o) Sum is greater than parts.

Hazy gold with a persistent head of foam that laced for the duration. Yeasty citrus nose. Citrus and melon rule the flavor roost. Medium body with moderate bubblies. Nice DIPA. Bravo for the 16oz cans.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high fluffy off white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and limes are present in the nose along with hints of lychee fruit.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of gooseberries, limes, and lychee fruit. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat "juicy" on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is quite juicy and has nice aromas and flavors from the hops - I particularly liked the gooseberries and limes.

3.76/5: A bit maltier than the standard hazy IPA, but it plays really well with the tropical dankness also going on

Poured from a 16oz can into a Trillium Pub glass.

Look is a hazy yellow orange with a thin white head.

Aroma is strong orange candy.

Taste is a nice balance between sweet honey malt and orange blossom citrus.
