Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus, nice and refreshing. Tastes of creamy citrus with slight tropical fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Excellent head production, retention, and lacing; really quite fantastic. Body is pulpily opaque and the color of mango flesh.
Very juicy aroma, with tons of citrus fruit and slightly less tropical fruit tones. Bright herbs, mild dankness, a touch of pepper. Grapefruit, orange, mango, lemon, pineapple, and papaya.
Similar on the palate. It's exactly as sweet as it should be at 7.4% ABV: nearing the malt backbone and sweetness of an imperial IPA, but not quite reaching it. It provides a nice balance for the hops, really letting them express in a juicy manner. Mango, orange, pineapple, mild to moderate dankness, and a touch of bright herbs. The fruity expression is almost inverted from the nose, with tropical fruit taking the lead over citrus (I find this is fairly typical of Citra).
Smooth, creamy, lively; low bitterness, very low astringency; slightly dry finish, inviting another sip, even though the body is such that you don't quite want to gulp it down.
