Love this brewer. A beach brewer bring this gritty new england seaside DIPA with a 3x citra. Found WFM Red Bank.
a) Murky sandy yellow body that splashes lace as thick as apple sauce in the snifter.
s) Lemon, white citrus rind, sand, salt air, seagrass, grain.
t) Fellows aroma, more cake, whipped eggs, whipped creamsicle, in a see saw of citrus and creamy grainyness. A bit of dank.
f) Applesauce again comes to mind. Bitter, clean finish.
o) Original, fresh, just out of the blender.

Canned on 12/17/20; consumed on 2/5/21.
The entry here has it listed as an IPA - English, which is incorrect. It's a New England IPA, as per the can (which also notes the addition of lactose).
A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is hazy golden with a 1-finger foamy white head.
S: Nice nose of lemon meringue, grapefruit peel and some grainy malt.
T: Follows the nose, with nice citrusy hoppiness - think grapefruit, grapefruit peel, lemons and some limes/lime zest. Finishes with lemon peel. Touch of sweetness underneath, likely from the added lactose.
M: A little "sharp" with a bit of bite detracts from the overall feel and impression. Pretty active carbonation provides lots of hoppy burps.
O: Solid. Tasty. A smoother or juicier feel would boost the overall score on this one.
