This is not the ideal looking hazy IPA because a slight lack of vibrancy but that's about all I can find fault with this 3X IPA. I don't know what other hops they rotate in and out of this series but this one's combo of Strata, Motueka and Citra is slammin'. Just pounding the nose with tropical hoppy fruits with a hint of stone fruit. Those notes follow through to the palate and keep even more in depth, adding distinct fruits now like mango, papaya, plum, peach and pineapple. They're doing this at 10.3 with out any obnoxious alcohol lingering in the background.

08/12/21 stamped on bottom of rim. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Very hazy dark gold with 2- finger off-white frothy head with unbelievable retention and a couple bands of lacing.
S: Aroma is light, especially for a TIPA with a vaunted hop lineup. Very mild peach, pineapple, and grapefruit.
T: Flavor is a big upgrade from the aroma with big mango, peach, passion fruit, lime, orange, and pineapple character. Esters are moderate and fruity. The malt backbone is inobtrusive but very supportive, not surprising for a 10.3% beer. Bitterness is low-medium and the alcohol is very well-hidden.
M: Plenty of heft but still supremely drinkable due to even carbonation, medium-full body, but fairly dry finish for the style.
O: An interesting beer -- surprising that the aroma isn't stronger but the flavor picks up the slack with bombs of hops flavor on a dense but not overly sweet malt backbone, leaving a very drinkable beer for the ABV.

The Strongest Geometric Shape is Triple IPA from Barrier. Brewed with Citra, Galaxy and Motueka, the pour is a densely cloudy pale yellow that hosts a generous foam cap.
The aroma is heavy with sharp hop burn (no burn in the flavor). Pineapple, orange, mango are prominent in the nose and the flavor. This is not sweet. the high ABV is not detectable. The mouthfeel is very smooth.
