Canned 12/21

Pours beautifully, with a thick creamy head that slowly fades to a rocky moonscape.

Tons of orange marmalade up front, with maybe a little potpourri like spice and faint, sweet booze. The finish adds a dry bitterness that feels a bit out of place. Since I've never had this without them, I can't say how much the bourbon soaked oak spirals added. Tasted blind though, I certainly would not guess that this is a barrel aged beer. Fair to say then I guess that the effect is minimal. Regardless, this is damn good overall. I only bought a single, hopefully I can get a pack next time.
