Another great pumpkin beer find...

...I feel like this might be an epic year for pumpkin brews. I've now had three separate ones and they have all been fantastic - this being the third one to date. Great look to it - clear and crisp. The smell is a blend of pumpkin and all the spices you associate with a pumpkin pie - delicious in the nose. Mouthfeel was medium-bodied, made it something that took time to enjoy - and that's a good thing. The taste was malty, lightly sweet with the pumpkin flavoring, and a balancing flavor of hops that pulled it all together very well. Definitely will reach for another one if the opportunity arises.

16oz can poured into a goblet

A- pours a clear golden amber with a one-finger foamy white head that has great retention

S- sugary malt mixes with an array of spices on the nose giving aromas of vanilla cream, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Undertones of pumpkin flesh

T- slightly sweet and malty up front before giving way to the spices, with cinnamon and allspice leading the way, followed by undertones of nutmeg. Mid-palate gives some gourd-like notes, as well as a hint of caramel. The finish gives more cinnamon and allspice that sticks around to the linger

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns creamy into the finish

Poured moderately hard from a tall can into a pint glass, forming a ton of off white head that soon faded to leggy lacing and a heavy ring. Dark orange color, transparent. Smell is pumpkin and a bit of spice. Taste is pumpkin with spices, clove taking center stage over the others. Medium to light bodied. Solid pumpkin ale overall.

A: The beer is clear orange yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pumpkin and allspice are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but is a little more rounded out and has notes of ginger and hints of nutmeg and sugar. The allspice flavors linger into the finish.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation.
O: I thought that this pumpkin beer has a nice balance between the pumpkins and the pumpkin spices.
