On draft at Dive Bar, NYC. First glass out of the keg, which makes this extremely fresh considering the word is it was finished yesterday. Thanks Lee.

Poured a murky deep amber hue with a three finger frothy off white head. There was very good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a leafy and slightly piney hop with some robust crystal malt and a touch if smoke.

The taste consisted of clean grainy malts, an earthy caramel, tea, smoke and a vibrant herbal hop. Incredibly dry for a beer of this ABV.

The mouthfeel was toward the cleaner side of the style with a pleasant dry finish.

Overall a very tasty and extremely user friendly (read dangerous) ale. I hope it sticks around all winter.
