On tap at the Bronx Draft House, Bronx, NYC.
Pours a clear golden color with a well retaining layer of film. There is lacing throughout.
Clean biscuity and bready malt aromas. These are contrasted with citrusy notes of lemon and grassy hops.
Clean and crisp dry cracker flavors along with semi sweet doughy and bready malts. Well spiced with flavors of lemony and grassy hops, as well as a clean gentle bitterness. The finish is clean, crisp and dry.
Medium to light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate.
Solid Pilsner. Well balanced and easy to drink.

-clear pale yellow can pour with 3 cm of foam atop. The aroma is faintly hay-like. The flavor is of bready malt with a bit of grass and beech. There is less flavor than I am accustomed to with the style. The finish is less dry than many others. -worth a try for a favored brewery and style. This is a fresh can.

Like others, while a big fan of Barrier, I found this aroma a bit soapy and off.
a) Clear, classic, white headed with lots of lace.
s) Faint but soapy, slightly off nose, with more hop bite than typical.
t) Hard for pilsners to leap out, this one leans into the hops and actually improves after time in glass.
f) Smooth crisp drinkable, sessionable (except for the soap).
o) Prefer Barrier's intense and often sea-worth IPAs and DIPAs like Money series.

definitely on the hoppy end of pilsner with this one. darker in color than your run of the mill pilsner. average carbonation. some good bready notes on the front palate. overall an interesting one but not where I would go for a pilsner mood.

Pours a golden straw color with a slight haze. Big beautiful rocky white head.
The aroma is of spicy and grassy hops. Bread and honey notes from the malt, perhaps a touch beefy for the style.
The taste is of a bready malt, sweet. Some grass and metal. Hops don't really pop on this one. Though the grass does come back through in the finish.
The feel is light but substantial with semisoft carbonation. Not as crisp as it should be.
A decent go at the style but doesn't quite hit all the style points.

Pours a clear gold color with a half inch white head that was well retained and left a decent amount of lacing. Smells of sweet malts, grassy and floral hops. Tastes as it smells only better with additional notes of spices and grains. Moderately carbonated, light bodied, crisp, easy drinking pilsner but not as bitter as most.
