Pours a clear gold color with a half inch white head that was well retained and left a decent amount of lacing. Smells of sweet malts, grassy and floral hops. Tastes as it smells only better with additional notes of spices and grains. Moderately carbonated, light bodied, crisp, easy drinking pilsner but not as bitter as most.

L- Translucent gold with a tight, fluffy head. Looks like a pilsner.

A- Slightly grainy pilsner malt, backed up by a heavy-hand of old world hops. A touch of blood orange comes through to play with some earth & spice.

T- The hops come into play quick, but you never forget that you're drinking a pilsner. While they are spicy & bold they never become vegetative, or overbearing.

F- Crisp with a slight lingering bitterness.

O- I could drink this for days. A hippy pils, that tastes like a pils? I'm in.

enjoyed from a glass from the 500ml bottle. nice crisp pils with a lot of grainy flavor. pretty good beer didn't blow me away and not my favorite pilsner but worth checking out if you dig the style.

Transparent golden in body with big fluffy white head. Aroma of cold snow crab legs and corn flakes. Tastes of hops, evergreen, mint, grain, and big bitterness. Quaffable.

08/25/11 At RnH, NYC. I enjoy most pilsners but some can get carried away with the 'grassy' bits. I found this to be not very impressive. Best thing is it's not too heavy. Needs to be cold as the bitterness gets ahead of the other characteristics & I'm no fan of the bitter.

On tap at Croxley's Ale House in Smithtown NY on 5/1 - pours clear gold color with a big fluffy foamy bright white head that faded very slowly and left really good lacing. Smells of sweet malt or grains, caramel, light citrus hops, grass and some earthy notes; basic as expected. Tastes like it smells with sweet malt, toasted, grains, caramel, wheat bread, citrus hops, grass, a slight funk and some earthy notes with mild floral notes; on the sweeter side but a nice drinkable pilsner. Mouthfeel is slick and creamy with a medium body for a pilsner, light carbonation and a sweet malty finish. A nice easy drinking sessionable brew that wasn't exciting, but on par for the style

From 11/27/13 notes. On tap at Pony Bar HK in NYC. 14 oz. pour in a pint glass.

a - Pours a somewhat clear golden color with one finger of fluffy off white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of grains, soap, bready malts, wheat, and earthy malts. Twinge of soap-like qualities in the nose, brings it down a bit.

t - Tastes same as the nose but no soap at all. Tastes of grains, bready malts wheat, earthy malts, and dough. Not too much going on, but decent.

m - Medium body and low carbonation. Smooth, and very easy to drink.

o - Overall a decent pilsner, though the nose smelt a little odd. Easy to drink, just not a ton going on here; probably wouldn't seek it out again.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready malts are present in the nose along with notes of floral and grassy hops.
T: The taste very much follows the smell, except that the grassy hop flavors are a little more prominent and there also is slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and clean on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but doesn't really match up to the top examples of the style.

Served on-tap at The Gingerman in New York, NY

A: Pours a crystal clear medium golden yellow in color with some light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some very dark golden yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall fluffy white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of thin head, a very thin film covering the majority of the remainder of the surface of the beer, and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of cereal grain and bready malts. Light to moderate aromas of herbal and grassy hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate to strong flavor of cereal grain and bready malts that have just a touch of honey like sweetness. That is followed by lighter flavors of herbal, spicy, and grassy hops. Light to moderate amounts of lingering bitterness.

M: Medium bodied with a light to moderate amount of carbonation. Slightly crisp.

O: Enjoyable and easy to drink but not a stand out beer in the style. Refreshing.

Had a pint at Queens Kickshaw with lunch. Nice pairing for a grilled cheese sandwich. The hops remind me a bit of Victory's Prima Pils, but this lager is more balanced and where I'd sometimes feel like the hops were too rich to enjoy, I can pick apart the grassy, earth citrus notes. There's a mild, soft bready backbone and an light enough body to make me consider ordering another round or two. Check it out if you can.

Poured a Medium straw hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and very good lacing.

The smell featured a vibrant herbal noble hop atop a light grainy malt.

The taste consisted of a stinging herbal hop which dominated the experience. Nice jagged graininess detected as well. Essentially everything I look for in a craft pils.

The mouthfeel was prickly and well carbonated.

Overall a delicious pils.
