Served on-tap at Valhalla in New York, NY

A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium orange in color with some moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some copper highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy off-white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film surrounded by some very thin film covering the majority of the reminder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of biscuit and cereal grain malts with some hints of sweetness followed by floral hops.

T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of biscuit and cereal grain malts with just a touch of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of floral hops. Moderate amounts of lingering bitterness in the finish.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Just a hint of dryness in the finish.

O: This is a pretty enjoyable English IPA but I wish the hops were just slightly more present without adding any additional bitterness - nice aromas but could have used just a hint more hop flavor. Easy to drink and the alcohol is very well hidden.

A_Burnt copper with a slight wispy cap. Head retention is low and not much lacing

S_Roasted malt hits the nose first. Fairly mild aroma

T_A quick rush of biscuit and caramel sweetness gives way to a rush of stinging pine cone bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly bitter with vegetal notes.

M_Medium body and a very aggressive carbonation akin to freshly made soda water. The carbonation is aggressive enough to sting the mouth.

O_This one is kind of all over the place.i Could do with less carbonation in an English IPA. It's bitter but rather non descript in the hop varietal
