Harmon Brewing Co. & Tap Room

Driving through the rain and up and down steep pitched streets I arrive at Harmon. I had a sampler and their Porter stood out, although the whole line up was solid. Place had a more laid back vibe to it on this Monday, which probably contrasted to their other location. Service was excellent and attentive, and the locals were pretty friendly... I found people from Seattle more friendly in general than the Portland area. Selection wasn't out of the ordinary but still satisfactory. I'm not sure if they have food. This is worth a stop and I may go here again myself on my next trip to the Seattle area after I finish all the other places I have yet to check out there.

A: Stopped in here a few days after opening we were the only ones here. Walking in you can the setup through the glass, long beer garden style tables on the left and a register and the taps to the right as you walk in. There is a longer hallway that takes you past the kitchen and into a backroom with tables, chairs, TVs and games. Really cool setup. The plan is to eventually have a beer garden outside of the place as well.

S: Service was good on this day, very good and the manager and bartender took the time to fill us in and shoot the breeze on the place

S: The entire Harmon line-up and was also told they were going to do a number of one offs and specialty stuff here. I had a new Mild ale here and they were getting ready to put on a 1 Hop Wonder as well
