Had on cask at Messrs. Maguire; poured into a tulip pint.

A: Pours a deep woody brown with a tan head and good lacing.

S: Smell is bustling with nut and smoke notes. There is a lot going on here, but its difficult to extract specific scents.

T: Carmel sweetness, milky tang and mixed nuts are evident. No hop bitterness to be found, but somehow this beer is never cloying. It's just extremely dynamic and tasty.

D: Far too drinkable for my own good. Perfect cask-carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

Overall: This is one of the best nut brown ales I've had the pleasure of trying. I tried nearly every beer at MM and this was by far my favorite. Get it while the gettin's good! Recommended!
