I bought this and didn't realize my bottle was almost a year old! So first off I'll say that it may be a bit malty because of the age. It pours a brilliant gold with a 1 inch head. Orange aroma is very previlent and I definitely dig it. I'm degrading the taste a bit I'm sure because of this particular beers age. It's still pretty damn good however. Feels very light and frothy.
= Pretty sure I messed up by buying this and not seeing the bottled date. This beer could have been a lot more to me. Wish I would have had it fresh! Still not bad for a year old!

Purchased a bomber and poured into a snifter.
A - Pours a clear golden amber with 1 inch of white head that settles pretty quickly.
S - Aroma is mostly Belgian yeast.
T - There is definitely some citrus coming thru along with the Belgian yeast. Earthy. Hardly notice any bitterness.
M - Medium moth feel and carbonation.
O - My first glass I thought "this is just ok". But my thinking improved with the second glass. It's a subtle beer, not going to knock you over as IPA or Belgian. But it is very good and very drinkable.

Pours gold, with a two finger white head. The aroma has oranges, bubblegum, Belgian yeast, citrus peel, and coriander.
Tastes somewhat sweet with some bitterness for balance. Tastes just like it smells. The Belgian yeast comes through nicely, as does the citrus.
Medium bodies, properly carbonated, smooth and easy to drink. I'm glad I bought this, it is a very good Belgian IPA.

Had a couple bottles of this from South Lyndale and drank a pint of this with Bill the mosquito killer.
L: Pours gold with a slight chill haze S: Spicy aromas with some dark bread
T: Yeasty, rich malts, caramel, trace of toffee, dark bread, stone fruit, dark dried fruit, some citrus.
F: Very creamy, medium body and carbonation, very soft in the mouth – almost like drinking a light foam or mousse.
O: A big, enjoyable IPA brewed with Belgian yeast. Worth trying.

22oz bottle from PowderhornPhil (thanks man!). Bottled 5/27/15. Served in a Clown Shoes snifter.
Pours a cloudy pale orange with a finger and a half white head. Small trails of bubbles rise all around the edges. A thin veneer of foam lingers, leaving a few scattered patches of lace.
Smells of yeast, vague citrus, some spice and dull bread. Not much to inspire but not atypical base on the few white IPAs I've had.
The taste opens up quite a bit compared to the nose. Spiced oranges, lemon zest, dry yeast, pepper and hints of earth. No real alcohol precense. Easy to drink.
Medium body with fairly high carbonation. Semi bitter and dry finish with citrus peel, spice and yeast.
I'm still not a big fan of the style but this was easy enough to drink. Based on the half dozen or so others I've tried in the style I can't fault the brewers for any shortcomings to my personal preferences. I'm glad to have tried this and I'd drink it again without hesitation but this is not one I would have sought were it not from one of my favorite "breweries".
