I picked up a 16 oz can at Total Wine for $4.99. It has a nice citrusy flavor and doesn’t taste too bitter. I enjoyed it. It’s very easy to drink for a Double IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy, light-orange with a half-finger of head, with little retention and modest lacing. Smells like a bounty of tropical fruits, pineapple, tangerine, and guava, only a bit of the promised mango. Quite fruity on the flavor profile as well, but with a touch of lemongrass and pomelo that was lost on the nose.

16oz can: this one pours a cloudy slightly darker golden color. There was a bit of a small white head on it Nice nose. Tropical fruits, citrus and a little bready. The taste is also good. Some bitterness with residual sweetness. Tropical fruits and citrus hops. Some maltiness and breadiness. A good DIPA.

16oz can from Bruisin Ales (Asheville, NC). 10.99/ 4 pack. Canned 11/13/17. Served in a Clown Shoes snifter. Enjoyed 12/8/17.
Pours an opaque, muted orange with a finger and a half white head. The froth fades to a scattered surface haze, downy halo and a good bit web-like lacing.
Tropical aromas of guava, grapefruit, mango and some bready malt. Fruity and inviting.
The guava is strong throughout. Grapefruit, orange peel, bread, caramel, subtle mango, pine, mild floral bitterness and an occasional vague nip of alcohol. Both mango and bitter grapefruit come out stronger as it warms. Pretty easy to drink for a tall boy at near double digit abv.
Pillowy medium body with moderate carbonation. The finish is like bread with guava, grapefruit and piney mango preserves.
As a huge fan of both Clown Shoes and fruited IPAs I had high hopes for this. Zebra Jon has tropical fuit in spades, with a fresh spin by their selection of guava.
