Pours to a nice head that lasts. Aroma is strong on bourbon, wood and vanilla. Flavor is dried fruits, whiskey and roasted grains. MF is thin and hot. A whiskey lover's brew.

Black and shiny with a fairly retentive tan froth. Redolent with milk chocolate, maraschino cherry, gum and cotton candy. Big on the dark chocolate with other notes of ripe cherry, plum, brown sugar and pine in the finish. Somewhat medicinal and near cloying in spots. Medium and smooth with a well-integrated alcohol heat.
Dig the artwork, and if anyone deserves a beer named after them it's Freddy Lamport, but this self-professed Clown Shoes Imperial Stout enthusiast will have to pass on this iteration next time.
