Slightly cloudy pale golden with a nice big frothy white (with a hint of yellow) somewhat persistent head; Smells like an IPA, lightly hoppy; Goes down smooth and tangy, A mild IPA, not too hoppy and without a strong flavor of fruit, about which I had been reticent. With a silly name like Clown Shoes Jeff vs the Fruit Machine, (my spouse chose it based on the appearance of the pint can) I was a little surprised by the pleasantness of this beer.

A: Poured into a tulip to a lbright golden yellow topped by a dense and rocky three finger head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with excellent lacing
S: Smells of spicy and fruity belgian yeast notes with some noble hop aromas and some passion fruit
T: Taste is fruity and spicy yeast notes with some passionfruit and some nice spicy noble hop notes while the swallow is more fruity esters and passion fruit with some lingering noble hop flavors.
M: This beer is on the lighter side of medium in body with soft carbonation that is slightly prickly while hte beer has an oily and refreshing finish.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer with some decent flavors and complexity. Definitely a nice twist on the style and the fruit addition complements the beer well. Worth a try but the fruit and yeast notes really overpower the hops. Worth a try if you want something a little different.
