It pours a beautiful clear somewhat amber color with not much of a head. Very pleasant almost sweet smell. Very malty and a bit of a bourbon bite. Clearly a sipper with a great mouth feel but not nearly as heavy as I would have guessed given the 11.5% ABV and some of the others I've tried in this category. My only problem is I only bought one bottle.
