-Sour Ale with passion fruit puree & hibiscus.
A: Lots of wild yeast makes the head go boom. First pour fills the entire vessel with an overload of foamy stone white structure. The topping was well lasting, finally giving way to a dull orange coloring flat of carbonation.
S: The fruity passion fruit comes through nicely, like a tropical smoothee of pineapple, peach and mango. Wet hibiscus flowers, have a sweet rose water scent. Hints of lime, guava and lightly sour oranges round out with a decent strength.
T: Tart tropical guava, mango and sour pineapple. Sweet flavor upfront, sour on the backend, musky fruitiness of kiwi-strawberry, sour oranges and mango highlights. A dash of lime accent with light citric-tropical twang finishing on the tongue.
M: Soft feel, lightly sticky with a good fullness.
O: A sharp flavor, wet nose and gentle sourness. The passion fruit and hibiscus really stand out. Kettle soured.
