Clear reddish amber with plenty of foam. Amiable sharp carbonation. Serious rye flavor, complete with the odd grainy taste. Interesting resiny and spicy aroma. Moderate bitterness.
Some malt taste and a sturdy body. An improvement on the standard amber stuff, though I wouldn't write home about the hop flavors. Still, it's quite drinkable. From the 32 oz growler filled at the new 192 Taproom in Mount Vernon.
