From a recent visit to the brewery, which is now located in Mt. Vernon (the Kenmore taproom remains open). Served in shaker. Poured a clean, clear golden amber color with 1/2 inch of white head that had OK retention, but light lacing.
The aroma was mostly base malts, some (but not enough) Rye, and a light hop presence.
The flavor profile was the same, a bit subdued for me, but likely more in line with what the typical Amber drinker would like.
The body was medium, smooth, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, the beer went down easily enough, but really didn't leave me wanting another, just then.
Overall, a solid brew for the style. You could do much worse.
